THE PlayStation network has gone down leaving users unable to access the store.
Hundreds of PSN users are reporting issues with the Sony PlayStation Network this evening.
It appears to have crashed across Europe – mainly in the UK and France – and in parts of the US, Asia and Australia.
The company confirmed they were experiencing issues on a number of services – including gaming and social, account management, PlayStation Now and PlayStation Video.
The PSN Network Service Status website states the problem has hit the entire PlayStation Store.
It reads: “You may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store.
“Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
They confirmed at 7.30pm they are still investigating the issue.
It comes as Instagram today went down for the second time this month as users complained the app’s feed isn’t working.
